I've never put any of my films on the internet. What's the best way? Quicktime? RealPlayer? Something else?
And, what problems, if any, can I expect to encounter if the film contains profanity and copywritten music? I don't mean problems from the owners of the copyright, but the upload provider.
In other words, can anyone just simply upload any film they've put together, no matter what it's contents?

Quicktime and MPEGS seem to be the most popular. I use Windows Media because I need to keep my file sizes small; I only have 25 megs available for my websites.
As far as I know, you'll need to get permission for the copyrighted music. No matter the length of the piece. No exceptions. No loopholes. No shirt, no shoes, no service.
I think Angelfire, Tripod, Lycos, et al have a "no porn, no nudity" clause in their service contracts for their free webhosting services. ISPs that provide webhosting services may or may not have a similar policy. Ask around.
